Abstract :
The development of a prototype Compton scattering camera based on two 1 cm cubic 3D position sensitive CZT detectors is underway in our laboratory. This paper describes the progress in the design and construction of the camera. System design, data acquisition electronics and software and image reconstruction are reported in the paper. Preliminary experimental results with 662 keV Cs-137 point and line sources are also presented
