Abstract :
A high-resolution high-energy photon spectrometer (HHS) was developed for high-energy gamma-ray spectroscopy in the energy range 10-30 MeV. Procedures for measuring the performance of the HHS have been developed, which use laser Compton photons and a 13C(γ,abs) reaction. Results are compared with those by Monte Carlo simulations. The information on the response function of the HHS is deduced for 15-MeV photons
