  • Abstract
    A compact soft X-ray pinhole camera has been designed to acquire two-dimensional digital images for the Hanbit magnetic mirror device. This pinhole camera system consists of a rotative filter array, changeable pinholes, a micro-channel plate (MCP) electron multiplier with p-20 phosphor screen for X-ray detection and signal amplification, and a CCD camera for digital image acquisition. For the effective MCP conditioning and calibration, a filament and a Cu target have been designed to be placed inside of the pinhole camera. Using this self-calibration pinhole camera, the spectral and spatial distributions of soft X-ray can be acquired in real time
