Abstract :
The method of surface treatment, allowing one to achieve high uniformity of light collection and excellent resolution of the scintillators with complex configuration and with a small output window, was worked out. For an integral assembly based on Ø130×41.2 mm NaI(Tl) crystal with the side Ø28 mm output window, high energy resolution (8.9% for gamma rays from 137Cs) was received
