Abstract :
Describes the development of a microcomputer-based intelligent system for motion control. The system, utilizing intelligent software is capable of implementing several real-time controls such as speed, acceleration, position and others. The system can control three axes movement and provides five modes of motion such as jogging, independent axis positioning, point-to-point positioning, linear interpolation, and linear and 2-D coordinated motion. This system has been tested successfully on various applications including fan and stepper motor control
