Abstract
A current monitor system operated at the high-voltage end of the resistor chain of a jet-type cylindrical drift chamber has been made in order to protect the chamber from damages due to discharge. It consists of four over-current trip circuits at the high-voltage end and an interlock generator at the ground level connected by optical fibers. For the over-current trip circuits, low supply-current devices are chosen to enable to be powered by a 6-volt battery. The circuit is sensitive to an excess of a few μA of the resistor chain currents
