Abstract :
Fuzzy control of a class of discrete-time fuzzy large-scale systems with time-delay is studied in this paper. First, a state feedback decentralized fuzzy control scheme is developed and the stability of the fuzzy large-scale systems is guaranteed. If the states are not all available, a decentralized fuzzy state observer is designed to estimate the states of the system. Consequently, an observer-based decentralized fuzzy output feedback controller is proposed. Sufficient conditions are derived for the robust stabilization and formulated in the format of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method
