Abstract :
Ground operation of a turnaround aircraft on airport is a typical discrete event dynamic system. TPN is combined the Petri net concept with time order technology, modeled the ground operation of aircraft in airport terminal area based on timed Petri net. The model is simulated with data from an international airline in China at last, figured out the system critical routing. Two proposals for shortening turnaround by optimizing the critical routing were tabled out. It turns out the model can make the finite resource on airport be utilized more rationally, the flight delay caused by ground handling can be decreased obviously
