Abstract
The determination of SIMU (strapdown inertial measurement unit) successive test data distribution is a small sample problem. It is the key to analyse the statistic characteristic of SIMU. A method is presented to use all the multi-stage-test data for establishing its prior distribution and posterior distribution. The distribution´s parameters are estimated with Bayesian method. Conjugated distribution and its sufficient statistic play an important role in the unknown parameter estimation of normal population. This method can improve the accuracy of statistic inference, and reduce the error of statistic analysis in the case of small sample. It is very helpful to make a further study to the statistic characteristic of SIMU
