Abstract :
The Riccati equation approach to the discrete time mixed LQR/Hinfin control problem with static output feedback is presented. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of all admissible controllers solving the problem are given. The approach is based on the solutions of a Riccati equation that depends on an admissible controller error. Also, a numerical procedure of determining an admissible controller solving the problem is discussed
