Abstract :
Several studies for survivability in MANET has been done, but there should be more considerations such as multichannel environment, tactical environment, and link failures. In this paper, we define survivability of tactical networks based on connectivity with multichannel environment and propose a method of measuring survivability of a network. We proposed a survivability measure scheme which calculates the number of links with each hop between nodes and aggregates all the link counts which are calculated in previous steps. When planning networks and performing missions in tactical networks, survivability measure can be contributed to transfer the mission - critical data. It also provides a basis of deciding weak points or connections of networks.
