Abstract :
As more and more HVDC projects are constructed in China, the electromagnetic environment problem is widely concerned by engineers, of which the total electric field of body under the HVDC lines is very important, but it has not been analyzed sufficiently by numerical algorithm due to the limitations of calculation means. In this paper, based on 3D upstream finite element method, a method to calculate the total electric field of body under HVDC lines is proposed. With the simplified calculation boundary, the 3D total electric field calculation of body model under HVDC lines is easy to implement. When body model is located under the HVDC lines, the total electric field on the top increased about 18 times.
