  • Abstract
In order to discuss the relation between rock burst and stress field in folding structure areas, the law the changing law of local stress area induced by mining was studied by FLAC2D simulation procedure and the targeted prevention measure was proposed from a strategic defense view based on the characteristics of rockburst in fold areas. The results show that the higher elastic energy will be accumulated easily and hazard of rockburst will be more serious when advancing downhill from anticline to syncline and mining the coalface near the wing parts firstly, then mining the coalface near the syncline. The direction of roadway should be parallel to the maximal horizontal stress or with a small angle. The most benefit direction of mining coal face should be advancing from syncline to anticline and the optimal layout should be mining the coalface firstly near the syncline.
