Abstract :
Intel Corporate has a long standing reputation in environmental responsibility and this project shares a breakthrough in extending this image. KM1 LEED team had demonstrated the leadership in enabling the KM1 AT Factory and Office Building to be awarded the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Certification by the US Green Building Council under the Existing Building Operations & Maintenance (EBOM) category. This is a breakthrough achievement for the following reasons: · This is the 1st existing Intel factory that certified LEED under the EBOM category.
