Abstract :
With the development of automatic control and fault detection and isolation (FDI) technology, fault-tolerant control is widely used in many fields. Based on the fault propagation analysis (FPA) and structural analysis (SA), the design approach of reconfiguration fault-tolerant control which takes much advantage in sensor fusion technology is introduced to a combined diesel and diesel (CODAD) propulsion system. And some key problems of such system are discussed in detail. In this way, it can not only meet with the safety and reliability requirements but also save much cost. This is very meaningful.
