  • Abstract
    The path travel time reliability is important for the evaluation of road network and travel information service. The method to establish the path travel reliability model is proposed: Supposing the path travel time reliability model may obey Weibull distribution, Normal distribution, Lognormal distribution, and Gamma distribution, the datas of path travel time was used to fit several distribution functions, the path travel time reliability model and its parameters were got, then the hypothesis testing were done to the reliability distribution of travel time and parameters of the distribution function. The distribution function of travel time reliability after testing was determined. An example was analyzed for the proposed model, the result showed that the proposed method was effective in fitting the path travel time reliability model. Thus the method to the path travel time reliability model was obtained.
