  • Abstract
    Price management process is one of the most important processes in 3C distribution. This paper stresses the efficiency of the whole price management process, analyzes the functions of key steps. Based on BPI, the steps with no value adding to the process are cancelled. After business process management, workflow management platform is involved to electronic the price management process. With the tool of workflow management, time of every step is calculated and the report and message are automatically pushed to users. The bottle necks of the process are found and improved. Process improvement and workflow system have been applied in 3C distribution for half a year. The efficiency of process management process is three times faster than before. A practical method of BPI is presented by the case study of 3C distribution. Conclusions and further efforts are presented in the end of the paper.
