Abstract
A number of concepts exist to measure the value of ICT-applications within the public sector. Typically, the challenge is to apply such concepts to a real world example. This paper presents a generic approach for measuring the value of e-government projects. Thereafter, it describes the application of these concepts to a case study in South Africa and elaborates on the experiences and results.
