Abstract :
As the IEEE Consumer Electronics ?Society Standards Committee chair and as an associate editor of IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, I had the honor of attending the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) in Chiba, Japan, which took place 1?5 October 2013. The following is an overview of the some of the highlights that impressed me at the conference.
