Abstract :
Soft variable structure control (VSC) for generalized systems is concerned in the paper. The structural features of soft VSC with differential equation, and some preliminaries for generalized systems are given. The generalized soft variable structure controller is designed, and the stability of generalized systems with soft VSC is proposed by an equivalent characterization. The concrete algorithm of soft VSC with differential equation is given. The soft variable structure controller for generalized systems was carried out for the purpose of intentionally decreasing chattering, achieving high regulation rate, and shorting reaching time. It is illustrated the feasibility of the proposed method by a numerical example on a submarine dive model, and an outlook on its further development is proposed.
