Abstract :
The kids in Pasco, Washington, may not have exposure to the big city, but that didn´t stop them from participating in the 2013 Future Cities Challenge. Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Software Engineer Cristina Marinovici mentored a team of middle school students from the Ellen Ochoa Middle School as they imagined, designed, and built cities of the future.
