Abstract :
We explore and compare various solution techniques for the diffraction of a two-dimensional complex-source beam (2D-CSB) by a wedge. Specifically, we calculate the exact total field via the complex-source multipole expansion and via the Sommerfeld integral, and compare the results with the complex ray solution and with nonuniform and uniform diffraction solutions.
