Abstract :
In the paper published in the IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, vol. 36, no. 2, pp. 259-271, Apr. 2011, results of applying a feature-based classification technique to single-beam echo-sounder data were presented. Comments on this contribution were presented in a correspondence paper published in the IEEE, Journal of Oceanic Engineering, vol. 37, no. 4, pp. 764-765, Oct. 2012). In this reply, the items addressed in the comments are reflected upon.
