Abstract :
I would like to add my “two cents worth” to this impressive write-up by Per Simon and his team, who organized the EuCAP 2013 in Gothenburg. As a professional “meeting-goer,” who has been attending meetings or workshops somewhere around the world to the tune of about once-a-month for the last five or six years, I can say with some authority - and I am unanimous in that opinion - that the EuCAP meeting capped them all, and was a very “impressive show” indeed. The venue, the ambience, the technical content, the organization, and even the entertainment: in short, you name it, they had it, and had it good. I was so impressed that immediately after my return from EuCAP, I shot off an e-mail message to Praveen Wahid, Chair of AP´13 in Orlando, singing the praises of EuCAP and throwing her a little challenge to boot, by saying, “Can you top that?” I hope she and her team will be up to the challenge and put on an equally “good show” in Orlando.
