Abstract :
One of the results of the ACE benchmarking activity was a paper in the Antennas and Propagation Magazine in 2009, where a commercially available GSM antenna was benchmarked with six simulation tools. The results were revealing. This structure showed a quite astonishing dispersion in the simulated results. However, there were some issues left uncovered. This year, within the yearly benchmarking cycle of the EuRAAP Working Group on Software, this structure was again benchmarked by the software vendors themselves, in order to see how the software tools had progressed in the last five years. The results were presented at the convened session of the EuRAAP Software Working Group at EuCAP 2013.
