Abstract :
Superabsorbent is a kind of new material and widely used in daily life which can absorb and hold a large amount of water ever under pressure. Many efforts has been directed to the use of superabsorbent resin which can significantly improve the water content of soil, volume expansion rate, total porosity and capillary porosity and soil structure, and also can ease the change of ground temperature, microbial activities and soil fertility. In this paper, a research on amylum superabsorbent grafted AA/AM under traditional condition and microwave condition has been developed. In this report, own water retention of resin, the bibulous rate in soil, experiment of soil spraying, water steam suppression of soil, expansion effect of superabsorbent resin and experiment of grass planting were tested. These results indicated that: Soils dashed with superabsorbent resin has improved the water retention of soil and soil compactness, regulate gas permeability of soil and make the soil structure favorable. In view of good water retention of the synthesized resin under microwave condition, it can be widely used in dry areas. Compared with the traditional resin, resin synthesized under microwave condition is easier to operate, and has better appearance and performance. In view of these advantages, this has great potential on application experiment in the large scale.
