In Memoriam: Stanley J. Kubina

He worked in industry for 10 years at Canadair on the design, development, and evaluation of avionics systems on classic Canadian aircraft such as the CL-28 “Argus” aircraft, the CL-44 “Yukon,” and the CL-66 “Cosmopolitan.” He was at Canadian Aviation Electronics as head of a DND (Canadian Department of National Defence) design team for the CHSS-2 ASW helicopter avionics and electrical systems. His work on the Argus patrol aircraft was the first methodical and documented EMC program on aircraft in Canada.
