Abstract :
Waterman spent his entire professional life as a researcher for a variety of companies (including the Avco and MITRE corporations) and consultancies. He published about 40 articles in the open literature. For a list and a more detailed biography, see [1], a paper in a special issue of the Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer dedicated to Waterman´s memory.
