IEEE-USA Supports Senator´s Effort to Investigate Gender Bias in H-1B Program [IEEE—USA]

IEEE-USA is supporting Senator Chuck Grassley´s efforts to determine if gender bias is present in the H-1B program. In an April 8, 2013, letter to Janet Napolitano, Grassley (R-Iowa) asked the Department of Homeland Security Secretary “…to do everything in your authority to make sure that the program is used as Congress intended, and that discrimination against women is not tolerated when employers seek to bring in foreign workers.” Grassley´s letter is available at http://www.grassley.senate.gov/judiciary/upload/Immigration-04-08-13-H-1B-gender-bias-letter.pdf.
