Abstract :
Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) and Crowdsourcing are kinds of acquisition modes of geographic information, as well as information production and dissemination way with the development of information technology applications. In this paper, on the basis of analyzing application of VGI and crowdsourcing modes on disaster information management system, the disaster information management system VDMS compatible with VGI and crowdsourcing has been designed and implemented. The system can issue and organize the data crowdsourcing collection activities effectively, receiving VGI data collected by terminal as well. Then, availability and effectiveness of the system has been verified that the system can improve efficiency of disaster information collection and rescue effect.
