Abstract :
In chemical industry, the energy consumption is very high due to the characteristic of enterprise´s production and process technology. Energy consumption behaviors and production activities are closed together. Therefore, it can help to improve the energy management level and optimize energy consumption structure for monitoring energy in production process. Using technological process of producing synthetic hydrochloric acid as an example, we build a monitoring system by using software of Force Control6.1 and Control Logix of Rockwell. The monitoring parameters in this system contain materials consumption, energy consumption and control information. The system consists three parts. There is a network communication module between data acquisition system and monitoring system, PID controllers for control parameters, and real-time dynamic monitoring system design. The cost of the system is low, therefore, it is ideal to be used in small and medium-sized enterprises without information system.
