Abstract
This paper is concerned with the present situation of grounding device in large scale power plant and power substation. We discuss high voltage transmission line with its mathmatic model. Base on the concluded linear model, a new grounding method is proposed for improving the damping performance of low frequency oscillation. The simulation result validates the effectivity of the presented method.
