Abstract :
The paper considers methodology of calculation of failure rate and remaining life time of the industrial enterprise equipment. It offers time characteristics of the failure rate for non-restorable and restorable items. Analytical dependences for calculation of the simple reliability indexes under conditions of the limited information on the failure number are presented. The paper deals with the methodology of the equipment´s life time and tendency to ageing evaluation. Failure rate of the components and units of the automated electric drives of the rolling mill has been analyzed for the extended period. Recommendations on the further operation of the installed equipment and extended application of the developed methodology are provided.
