Abstract
The mountain clustering method is based on fuzzy logic and is used to localize clusters in data sets that have clustering tendencies. This article gives valuable background and details of fuzzy logic and the main steps of fuzzy clustering. The focus is on modification of mountain clustering and its mathematical basis. The paper also presents implementation and test results of the modified mountain clustering method with different inputs.
