Abstract :
The paper presents the study of magnetic losses in rotor of permanent magnet multipolar synchronous machine with fractional-slot winding of stator. Study of magnetic losses was conducted using three-dimensional finite-element models of electric machine magnetic field. The results allowed revealing the factors the most influencing the loss rates, as well as estimating the ways to decrease magnetic losses in rotor.
