Abstract :
A shift of paradigm in theory and practice of product design requires a review of existing technologies of decorative surface treatment in the direction of adaptation to changing system of formation. Aesthetic benefits of different surface treatment technologies have been revealed. Recommendations on the choice of technology of surfaces decoration considering specificity of art objects were proposed. Promising are hybrid technologies that combine high-performance production methods with manual connection and finish processing of decorative surfaces.
