Abstract :
We developed 1.3μm, EML module built in linear EAM driver IC for 28-Gbaud 4-PAM 56-Gbit/s operation. Optical transmission performance under fiber dispersion range from -73-ps/nm to +39-ps/nm intended for 8-lane LAN-WDM system is demonstrated.
