Abstract :
Central Data Processing System(CDPS) in NARO Space Center plays a key role of real-time data processing acquired from several ground tracking systems such as tracking radar, ground telemetry station and electro-optical tracking system. The processed data by Central Data Processing System is used for flight safety monitoring purposes and target designation of tracking stations on initial locking on launch vehicle or tracking failure. These functions are very important for several operators in space center during launch vehicle in flight. So, we should assure very high level of availability for Central Data Processing System in any operation conditions. For the seamless operation of Central Data Processing System, it needs redundant and fault-tolerant architecture to minimize the takeover delay time on system failure. The fault-tolerant mechanism presented in this paper switches between hot primary and hot secondary. It should be needed accurate control action about data distribution. In this paper, we described about operation concept of Range System, the configuration, autonomous/manual failover architecture and test results of Central Data Processing System.
