Abstract :
The accurate geographic location of the IP address is useful and important in different areas nowadays, like targeting online advertisement, increasing network availability and avoiding large-scale network attack. So it attracts a lot of researchers and industries to study. In this paper, we will introduce the chief methods of the IP geolocation in the world and put forward our suggestions and prospected development direction in the end.
