Abstract
The simultaneous generation of second and third order dispersion is demonstrated using nonlinearly chirped silicon waveguide gratings. Second order dispersion of -2.3×106 ps/nm/km and third order dispersion of 1.2×105 ps/nm2/km were demonstrated at 1.55μm.
