Abstract
Due to the traffic congestion caused by increasing traffic flow at airport, a strategy to schedule arrival flights at airport with one runway is studied by utilizing collaborative decision making and law of economics. First, taking into account factors including airline´s gross income, operation cost and delay cost, a scheduling optimization model to maximize total airline´s profit is established, and constraints such as separation between consecutive arrival flights are imposed too. Then, to obtain optimal solutions to the optimization model, a modified genetic algorithm is developed. By using the proposed strategy, arrival flights can be better scheduled at airport, while airline´s profit is increased at the same time.
