Three Dimensional Integration of design: State of the art

Some previous studies have been made in order to integrate several dimensions of design: product design, manufacturing process design and supply chain design especially integrated in pairs. Few of these studies were interested in the integration of the three dimensions at once and together. The purpose of this paper is to achieve a state of the art about all type of integration, the three Dimensional Integration of Design 3-DID: goals, importance, propositions and limits. A taxonomy of the main three dimensions is explored.
