Abstract
This paper presents some preliminary data sets regarding the propagation of VLF radio waves during high Solar activity. Data were acquired in Romania in 2013 using a proprietary radio receiver developed at BITNET CCSS. The purpose of this experiment was to estimate the impact of significant solar X-ray bursts on long distance radio propagation at frequencies lower than 30 KHz.
