Abstract
In order to ensure that a shielded enclosure is adequate for its intended purpose, it is important that the enclosure is correctly evaluated using a certified testing procedure. During the execution of the enclosure, two tests are recommended. The preliminary test must include sufficient testing points to detect an enclosure leak before all of the final finishes are applied. The final test should be performed for the certification of the enclosure or for the acceptance test. This paper presents a number of practical issues encountered in TEMPEST enclosure testing procedures.
