Abstract :
Efforts to increase the efficient use of renewable energies such as wind or solar power are strongly increasing especially in the low voltage network. This paper deals with the question about the optimal sizing of a decentralized generation unit in combination with an electrical and a thermal energy storage unit for a residential household. The degree of own-consumption as well as the degree of autonomy are defined and used as optimization parameters. Simulations are performed using a real load profile of a real load profile for a residential household as well as of a decentralized generation unit with variable power output for one year. Finally a sensitivity analysis reveals the impact of various independent parameters on the optimization parameters. The results are important for future network planning or reconstruction measures in the low voltage network.
