Abstract :
PbCl2 causes corrosion in waste combusting power plants and there is no method to monitor it. We demonstrate the use of collinear photofragmentation and atomic absorption spectroscopy (CPFAAS) to successfully detect PbCl2 in-situ in a hot furnace.
