Abstract
This paper summarizes the development of distributed event-triggered control for multi-agent systems. Several mainstream consensus algorithms are introduced with illustration of their manner of use. The advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms have been presented with comparisons. Finally, the future research directions as well as the application areas of the distributed event-triggered control are provided.
