  • Abstract
    We generate octave-spanning pulses centered at 10 μm with 100-mW-scale average powers and 100-MHz repetition rate via intrapulse difference-frequency mixing driven in LiGaS2 by a nonlinearly compressed Kerr-lens mode-locked Yb:YAG thin-disk oscillator.
