Modelo optimizado para la simulación de sistemas coherentes en fibras ópticas

We propose and implement a new model for the numerical integration of the Generalized Coupled Non Linear Schrödinger Equation. We compare our method with the universally used integration based on the Manakov-PMD equation showing that, for an 11 channels 100 Gbps link, our implementation can be twice as fast. We used our model to simulate a link from Buenos Aires to Cordoba that will be installed and operate by the state company ARSAT.
