Abstract :
In this paper some preliminary results of the airborne collision avoidance system achieved by means of the MetaSensing airborne X-band radar sensor are presented. A test flight was performed where a cooperative target was flying in front of the aircraft which was equipped with the radar sensor. The preliminary results show the system´s detection capability.
